1. Who we are

motorcyclesfreeride.net ("we", "the site") is an independent informational guide about motorcycles. The site owner is responsible for the processing of personal data described here (the "data controller").

2. What data we process

We do not ask you to register, log in or submit forms, and we do not collect your name or contact details.

We process only: (a) technical data that our hosting provider logs automatically when you open a page — IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time — to operate and protect the site; (b) small values stored in your browser that the site needs to work (see the table below); (c) only if you agree — statistics and advertising data processed by Google, described in sections 4 and 5.

3. Cookies and your choice

Necessary storage works without consent because the site cannot remember your language or your cookie choice without it. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you allow them in the cookie banner.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.

4. Google Analytics

If analytics is enabled and you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) to see which pages are visited and how the site is used. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We use the results only in aggregated form.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

To keep this guide free we may show ads provided by Google AdSense. With your consent, Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.

6. Legal basis (GDPR)

Analytics and advertising cookies: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Server logs and site security: our legitimate interest in operating a safe and working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. How long data is kept

Hosting server logs: for a short period set by our hosting provider, usually no longer than necessary for security. Your cookie choice: 12 months, after which we ask again. Google Analytics data: 14 months. Google advertising cookies: up to 13 months.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, to object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Because we do not collect names or accounts, we usually cannot identify you — but we will help with any request sent to contact@motorcyclesfreeride.net.

9. Children

The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Links to other websites

Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read their own policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page.
